Managed to get some imaging time in last night, conditions were very good in Melbourne's east. I'm still processing, but here are a couple of pics. Thanks for looking.

I've done a little more with my Jupiter pic. It's interesting playing around in AutoStakkert and Registax, there are a lot of variables that seem to interact in a number of ways, takes time to get to know what each does...

Yep that is pretty good too, I get quite lost in this processing part of it, Im afraid it has left me behind, now I just enjoy everyone else,s work.

It's a time consuming thing. I feel like I'm stumbling around, trying this and that as I learn the ins and outs of this software. At the moment it takes so long to process the LRGB files, and when I try a different tweak at the start of the process I can't really see what effect it has until I've completed the processing, which can be frustrating. It's starting to become a little clearer, but there is still a lot I don't understand.

Nice images regardless of the processing challenges. As if dealing with the seeing conditions is not enough to endure, grappling with the processing and working out what does what is another challenge.
You seemed to have managed well enough though.

Thanks Jeff. I don't mean to sound disheartened, I'm really enjoying this imaging. I love those moments when you have a stack go from AutoStakkert to Registax, and the details start to emerge as wavelets are adjusted. I don't even know what wavelets are, but I'm not going to let that get in the way...
