Nice Omega !!

PS I can see green in the background main core area , just like my uncoloured image before I hit the colour module in Startools
Can you see it ??

I can't see the slightest hint of green. When I did my aircrew medical the
doctor said that I had pretty much the finest colour discernment that he
had ever seen, but that was 65 years ago, so I don't suppose it has much relevance to what I see today.

Gee it has a greenish tinge in there or I’m colour blind
I took a snap shot of the core area and zoomed in 4x
Definitely plenty of green pixels in that snapshot
Cheers

In the zoom there is certainly some blue/green, but I can't see any in the full image. What there is in my full image is a lot of blue and green mottled noise in the outer regions, which is of course the result of my primitive imaging.

Certainly very colourful. A good cluster. I read that the green is also associated with the yellow stars so that they are green/ yellow in some instruments. Once you start using filters on astro cameras the colour is up to you I think. With a DSLR and no processing in daylight white balance , the initial raw is set by the manufacturers systems to be as close to what you can see as possible. The astro camera colour balance is pretty poor without manually setting the colour histogram.

That Is why I used a DSLR, I like my images to look as natural as possible.
Other than for professional/scientific purposes I consider images coloured to suit the photographer to be art.

I am yet to try the DSLR on the newt although I have tested the focus and alternative guider. It will be a great combo I think with good colour rendition for the smaller brighter objects. A cheap coma corrector would also add a lot of back focus.
