M17

Managed to get 7 straight nights in when the moon was absent from the night skys ambient outside temperature go down to 7 degrees so conditions where perfect . My first real attempt at a SHO image . I shot M17 over 4 nights at around 120 minutes a night while I was waiting for another target to rise. I was playing around with 10 minute subs just to see what it would look like

Around 5 hours of 600sec subs of HA , SII and OIII

Looks real dark on the preview but is very bright on my home screen.

Still got a long way to go but was happy just to achieve the goldish colour. Also lost a lot of detail downsizing it to below 200 kb

Very good Kuz, lots of 'depth' in that image.

I have never done NB so cant comment on your processing, but imagine you could spend at least a few days playing with the data, for many different results.

IIS upload images will work up to about 1.2Mbyte by the way.

And when you're really happy, provide a link to a hi res version.
