We present herewith our latest astro image being of the very busy and complex star forming region in Corona Australis. We have just about everything in the field from a scattering of galaxies, a prominent globular cluster, reflection and emission nebula, Herbig-Haro objects and much brown dusty stuff.
Approximately 12 hours of exposures with the Tak TSA120 @ f5.6 and QSI683 ws8 camera.

Great image of a very interesting area. Love the colour rendition.
(I'm very jealous - I can't even get to my equipment because it is nicely tucked up out of reach due to Melbourne's lockdown.....:mad2:)

Thanks everyone.
Who’s the we? Well, really just me but my wife always has a look over the aesthetics and colour scheme prior to publishing :D

Many thanks to all and yes we do enjoy our Tak scopes. Great investments and wonderful toys. Thanks for the video link Andy, that was most entertaining. And I do actually sit back and take in the image as well :)

Excellent observation Markus, how did I not see this before I wonder? :)
Now if I could only 'unsee' it ;)

Thanks Mike, yes I did sit back and admire this one for a while. I guess there is good reason that many are drawn to this area as it make for a spectacular setting.

Superbly done Rodney, I love the colour balance & resolution with NGC 6723 & the brighter stars not being blown out. This will be a reference image for me.

Thanks Tony/Ecki, it was worth paying extra attention to the processing to make sure the star profiles and colours work well.

That is better than my version in my opinion. Love the detail in all the reflection nebula.

Excellent image.
A whole lot better than my version as well, plus at the same magnification as well. I think the point is I need a lot more data, and better night skies or filter. I have put my image on hold now till I can get more data.
