85 percent illuminated 29 august 2020

Well the covid Luna keeps on giving!! the seeing for this at dusk this evening was superb, best calm atmosphere i have seen in years. there was one small drawback - hazard reduction burning.

regardless Autostakkert gave it 100% for quality - never seen that before. best i have had previously was 81%.

Thanks for looking, with so many Jupiter Saturn's and Mars people don't venture into the Luna that much

That is superb. I was doing Jupiter in Adelaide last night and AS typically only reached 50% at best... I have never seen 100%, never mind your more modest 80% !

It was superb on Saturday night, Marc experienced the same conditions and had a bigger gun, looking forward to seeing his results

Talked to Dennis and updated all my TOPAZ tools. I'm trying to strike the right balance between not too blurry and not sharpened silly. :P

Wow - excellent Moon photo David. Nicely processed too.:)

Is this a one pane shot, or did you have to assemble a mosaic?

Cheers
