FOR SALE - SKYSHED POD OBSERVATORY IN DESERT TAN COLOUR….$4500 Pickup Brisbane or + Transport to other locations
The Observatory is in excellent condition and currently setup if you want to view for 1 week only after which it will be disassembled ready for the buyer to pickup/transport. As the panels nest together as do the pods and the 2 half domes it can be packed onto a 7 x 4 trailer or Ute/Truck.
The pod disassembles into 3 wall panels, 1 door panel, 2 pod panels and the dome comes apart into 4 sections.
The Sky Shed Pod is made from high density, nontoxic, Highly UV resistant, double walled, polyethylene which are filled with hardened Ecomate foam insulation. Not only does this make the already strong walls incredibly strong, it cuts out IR waves, UV waves, and light. The thick insulation helps keep outside hot and cold temps on the outside in extreme environments.
The POD is just under 8' in diameter by 8' in height and will accommodate the latest popular SCT and GE telescopes, up to 14", including 14" CGE and 14" RCX Plus small to medium sized refractors, even Dobsonians.

The Pod bay provides additional space for laptops, power supplies, LCD screens and equipment setup in safe dry stable space. The bays extend to the ground, meaning you can put much more weight into them.
