Hi Guys - well its been a whopping 5 years since I posted here! Thanks to Mike the site is still thriving!
This is my first real attempt at shooting the Milky Way
Canon 500d unmodded 15 x 30 sec at ISO 3200 using a Rokinon 10mm f2.8 ED lens

Paul,
really nice image.
The 10mm f2.8 really grabs a huge part of the sky.
I have the same camera and a 17mm lens, gives great results.
Welcome back !!
Paul.

Thanks! Yes so much easier to image with a wide lens. I could of stretched the signal a bit more but I was battling light pollution so thought I would leave it as natural as possible.

Ah, its really nice!! I really like these shots with Jupiter and Saturn charging into the frame, too :)
Are static subs, or are you running a mount?
