Barnard 228 the Dark Wolf Nebula in light polluted skies

Never expected to get too much from the light polluted skies of Newcastle, and only 1 hours worth before cloud shut things down, had to trust the Argo Navis as I couldnt see much in test images, just a lack of stars where parts of the nebula are, anyway pushing the processing I just managed to get some of the dark brown colour.

Unfiltered, EOS Ra, 10 inch f5.6 newtonian, off axis hand guided, 6 x 10 mins ISO 800

This would be a joy to do 3 or 4 hours on at a dark site.

You could try Ha from your location. The area is full of it.
