Cloud cleared early last night for a bit so managed 5 x 10 mins on M17 Omega Nebula. Iso 800. EOS Ra 10 inch f5.6. Hand guided. LPS filter used
The TS optics off axis guider is great, looks through the Baader coma corrector so I get a nice round small guide star.

I don't envy your hand guiding but you do have really nice stars :)
Well captured and processed.

Very fine indeed. Beautifully sharp. You've got quite a bit of the "cygnet" to the far left of the Swan, so quite deep.

Bottom right corner shows a faint doubling of the stars. Not a guiding issue (congratulations there!!), because the rest of the field is fine, and not tilt or coma, a definite double image. So probably a registration problem during stacking.

Best,
MnT

Thanks all. I must check the subs to see if the star issues are a registration issue or the camera/ coma correntor / telescope not fully climated or perhaps tilted.

Update:
It looks like tilt. It shows up on each sub. In other shots no such elongation or it happens in other corners of image. Might have to try some thin tape on the focuser.
