For a not commonly imaged object from our side of the equator that is a pretty good capture. Good to see that some out there having a go at the rarely imaged stuff.

Nice one, Kuz!! I just realized the other night that this also appears above my northern horizon and am going to have a go at it.
Any reason you chose the 80 over 100mm for this? I was thinking of busting out the newt for it instead of my 80, try to bump up the image scale a bit?
Thanks saturnine and jahnpahaw . I currently have my 80mm permanently set up with a zwo 294 and the 120mm with a zwo 1600 . I have only menaged to gather a couple of hours of HA so far on the rice bubble . Problem lately nice weather on work nights clouds on the weekend ,
Image had to be reduced about 200 % so have lost a bit of detail
Thanks:thumbsup:

Great image. And effort. I, also, even did not know we could image it in our southern hemiphere.
