This Kletsov cassagrain is on my list currently as my reflector from Bintel- ordered months ago, won;t be here till September and i can't find a decent RC 8 for love or money.
Any comments on the quality/ build, for astrophotography?

A mate owned a TAL200K. We compared it side by side with my (then) Mewlon 210. At a fraction of the cost, the TAL outperformed the Tak visually. Things I liked about it: super stubby/compact (made the Mewlon look like a long newt!); built like a tank (mil grade); and curved vanes (no diffraction spikes). Things to watch out for: back focus limited (he had issues and had to add a low profile focuser); not sure how these fare in terms of imaging; and mirror was scratched out of the factory/not perfect as you’d expect.
