Photo Challenge
05-08-2020, 11:19 AM
The Topic this month, thanks to UniPol, is "windows"

Note:
* This thread is only for posting your entry, together with any comments/explanation/details you'd like to issue concerning your own photo.
[sometimes this may help sway the judges]
* However, comments on other people's entries, or any "other" shots of your own you'd like to share, should be posted to the Comments and Rejects Thread -> HERE (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=1485878#post148587 8).
* And, it's only one entry (that's just one image) per person (but you can change it out at any time if you get a better one)
* Importantly, the image must be your "own work" and
* all other normal forum rules, and image size limits, apply.

The image doesn't necessarily have to be taken this month, but now that travel restrictions have been eased, we encourage you to get out and engage with the challenge. Where recommended "Mask Up" :help:

In this regard, YES, the image may be one that you have previously posted, unless of course it has already been voted a previous photo challenge winner.

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo immortalised in our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame".

Good Luck!

Strolling down one of many paths and alleys in Venice I couldn't not take a shot of this colourful view of daily life in the city.

Don't lean out of this window if you have a fear of heights.
Image is too big, please scroll up and down, or view at 50% screen to see whole image.
I have put another image in the rejects page.

My son flew me on a scenic flight around Sydney last week.
This is the best shot, Sydney CBD , Opera House and Harbour Bridge taken out the window of the plane.

The caretaker gave me access to this iconic little church one day. It's something I had wanted for years; to be alone in the building to photograph it.

In a very small town in the middle of France, Saillant*I think on the Vezere, not the famous ones .

Hand made windows by Chagall with biblical themes. I like the mouton in this one as they look like waves on the sea being conducted by the shepherd. A little fun perhaps. Or perhaps it really is Moses. Who can tell.

I think Arthur Boyd would have liked these.
