Best Jupiter to Date

No matter what else I am doing, I always try to shoot jupiter as I always get some result. The seeing yesterday was ordinary, and my images showed it. Tonight, at least before the clouds rolled in, felt much better and the image looks it.


This is straight out of registax ( via autostakkert!) with no PS .. but it's not too shabby for a rank beginner I reckon.

that definitely looks much better than the other efforts - huge improvement. conditions haven't been great either so you've done well.

Thanks. It's relatively easy leon, it must be if I can manage it!

Every time I go out I learn something new. The big thing I've learned is how much I need to learn about post processing!
