Hi all,

This time I tried something different - a dark nebula in Ha (https://pbase.com/slawomirlipinski/image/170919088). Still did not have time to rectify the tilt - work has been too busy, but as I used to say when living in the big smoke - any data is better than no data at all.

High resolution version (https://a4.pbase.com/o12/75/1404475/1/170919088.xCxwRp6b.LDN_V1.jpg).

I am not planning a colour version, at this stage at least.

Thank you for looking
Suavi

That looks great. It looks like a black ink drop in water.

Greg.

Love it :)

High resolution version really shows the quality. Well done:thumbsup:

Superb!

Wouldn't worry about the tilt - it's utterly negligible.

A lovely image with lots to see.

Nice one!

I love these little guys - at this orientation it looks like a tadpole diving down into a pond - my kids thought it looked like a leaping puppy when spun around 180 degrees! Unfortunately you've cropped off the 'tail' of the left hand one

As to tilt - (sigh) I'm becoming quite the expert on refractor tilt remedies.
Have a read of this if you're looking for a possible solution... http://www.fernrohr-service.de/4.html

That's a really cool field, Suavi. I like it in B&W.

that is really nice Suavi, and quite dramatic! also concur the monochrome version is all that's needed.

Thank you everyone - it was a fun experiment but not the result I was hoping for. Should get a few clear nights soon and the moon as waning , so hopefully will start a new project, and will try to correct the tilt a little bit - I am not really good at that.
