Couldn't think of anything better than this classic trio for first light for my RedCat51.

Pictured are the the Lagoon Nebula (M8), the Trifid Nebula (M20) and the fainter NGC 6559. Imaged in narrowband with the Optolong L-enhance filter. The data was collected over 10 hours on multiple days - with the first 3 hours under Bortle class 8 suburban skies (Brisbane) and the remaining 7 hours under Bortle class 1/2 skies on K'Gari / Fraser Island. (You've got to love work field trips in winter!)

looks to be nicely captured Praj but you've lost a lot of information from black clipping your RGB channels.

Cheers

Thanks for the tip Russ, I wasn't sure how far I should clip away. I'll have a play around with photoshop again. :)

I shouldn’t have clipped the blacks so much. The image looks much better now. :) Any further suggestions for a newb are welcome! 😁
