Hi all,
After a promising first go at imaging I was keen to try again.
Friday night just after midnight promised a GRS with ganymede transit, so even though there were enough clouds out to prevent sky-sense from auto-aligning, I could still see jupiter and saturn by eye (but nothing else really) I tried again.
This time (thanks to some good feedback and advice here) I found the uncompressed Y800 format, and took longer videos. FPS was still lowish, because I needed 1/30sec exposures even with 2x binning and max gain.
Despite the much worse conditions, I think I can see definite improvement.
Really wanted the red spot further round, and that shadow of ganymede more in the picture ... but the thick clouds had other plans.
As always, any thoughts / advice welcome!
