Attached plot shows position on 26th this month.. tomorrow evening it will be in the first frame (circle indicates 8x50 binocular FOV)

Hardly worth the trouble... through Melbourne light pollution.

Yep it's a bit like that. At least you can tick the box you saw it, that's all I have done too

It’s a toughie for sure. It’s fading in brightness quite quickly, and with the Moon around and low elevation makes it tricky.

It is climbing towards Arcturus though...
