Folks,

Last Saturday night was forecast to have a steady-ish jet stream, but the planets were bouncing around the screen fairly well, so I was having a good game of pong with the scope controls :D

Taken with my C11 EdgeHD, WO 1.25" Barlow and ZWO ASI290MM camera over the course of 15 minutes.

Tiredness got the better of me, and I thought the seeing was dropping off, so I figured it was probably a good time for me to pack up so I could drop off too :lol: Shame really, as it could use a little more data...

I'm not certain I was close enough to opposition to get the 'opposition surge' of brightness (see Tulloch - Andrew's post for this demonstration!), but it was all educational as it's been cloudy every night since :sadeyes:

I think you certainly got some of the surge - excellent image with perfect amount of sharpness IMHO, but as you said, you really should have stayed out there for a bit longer to get that noise down a touch more :)
