Very nice Jen. You got a lot of the O111. I struggled with that somewhat.
Greg.
Hi Jen
Link to your image is broke (well it is for me).
Thanks Greg, the one thing that frustrates me with the O111 filter is that it always gives me a halo around the bright stars 🥺
Oh no sorry, I don’t know why that would be

Well done Jen a lovely result. Must be hard having to get your images after travelling 100km's, setting up and sitting out in a remote paddock, freezing your butt off in front of a lap top, in the dark with no creature comforts, listening to scary animal cries through the night :scared2: ......

Yeah Mike, I don’t know how the peeps with no observatories survive such cold lonely conditions hehehehe
I don’t know how I used to do it 🤗😜🥶🥶🥶
Best thing I have ever done was get an obs built 😍😍
I’m loving every minute of it 👍👍

I have an observatory too (Sirius 2.3m dome) but apart from mostly protecting me from wind, I still freeze inside and it is a manual dome, so turny, turny, by hand, all night long, fully coated and beanied up in winter (plus the wild animal noises)
