This is getting just too lazy, i set the scope up in the backyard and connected the imaging setup to the ASIAIR pro and using my tablet screen mirrored to the 65inch TV in the lounge room, i could now sit back in comfort and use the tablet as a remote control for the scope moving it to several objects and viewing on the large screen TV.

Anyway now i am back to imaging M17 and watching startrek on TV

I believe the professional astronomers do their monitoring from comfortable quarters. Don't think that they would be watching Star Trek at the same time though.

Your not lazy, I have been known to sleep through an imaging session, and have SGP wake me on completion so I can go out and close the roof and turn things off. Must look into automating that last bit.

 You're worse than me. :eyepop: I'd love to be able to do everything remote though, especially in winter.

I have yet to set up my Asiair but I do like to check on things like cables dew whatever.
However I have some security camera unused which together with wireless may make me happier leaving things run without being there..at least for the small observatory but when the roll off is up and running my bed will be in there.
