The moon lacks colour naked eye or through a telecope.
But the Moon’s regolith has subtle colour differences. So processing one of my lunar images you can see the contrasting colours blue (titanium) and brown (iron). Thanks BBC Sky at Night, August.

Thanks Russell. I always keep an eye on the BBC Sky at Night magazine as they have some good processing tips. They also put out a book on astroimaging which is good for beginner and more advanced astroimagers.
