After processing my videos of Jupiter from 2 nights ago, I note they (and Saturn) all have a haze around them, which I haven't got on other nights. I am assuming this is a result of the conditions?
AVI->Autostakkert!->Registax6

Nothing that couldn't be fixed in photoshop but whilst I am working on the 'perfect' planet shot, I want to learn from mistakes and experience.

An example attached.

Could that be dew?
What scope and dew controller do you have?

It could be, though I had a dew heater on it... the heater is USB ( too pov to get a controller yet) and was turned on, though noguarantees it was in the perfect position, I put it where the lens would be. Scope is a Saxon 90mm refractor.

Yeah, it still could be dew. I have heaters but still check now and then but it catches up with me too.
Hair dryer on standby.
