First time nightscape

My first attempt at nightscape image from late last year

Not sure whether you intended to emphasise a blue cast to your sky but it does look rather Sci-Fi, like from a movie scene, where a UFO is about to land. I like the colours. Great foreground too, your light painting balances the scene nicely without taking away from the Milky Way overhead. So as a 1st attempt at nightscape photography you've done exceptionally well! :thumbsup:

How about some exposure details and camera/method used to achieve this? It gives those thinking of giving it a go an idea what they can achieve with similar equipment to yours perhaps. ;)
