A few images taken with my Celestron C8 on the EVO and ZWO I224mc with 2.5x Barlow from a long session that extended from 7 July to the morning of the 8th. Early on Petavius caught my eye so to speak on the nearly full moon and gave me hope that the modest seeing included erratic periods of better seeing.
My luck was in for the midpoint of the GRS transit on Jupiter. But could not achieve the same result on Mars. Mars seeing did appear poorer but there is also a dust storm emerging and so as well as a normal color image tried the Astromik 642 R-IR filter to try and get the albedo features to stand out more.
Also included the Saturn image which came out reasonably well and when I turn up the brightness shows a very faint dimple (not sure if you can see it on this posting) which could possibly be a storm up near the pole.
