Canon 5d Mk3 and Target ADU

Hi

I can see that real astro cams typically have a documented targeted ADU that is desirable for flat images.

Does anyone know if there is a documented target ADU for the Canon 5dmk3

or do I just select 25000ish and hope for the best?

just take it in AE mode and your pretty much set with a bright enough light source
