Good solid build, weighs 1.5kg

Is the dovetail included?

Is there any collimation screws at the back?

The small attachment plate is included (I have attached a pic). This will attach to an existing mount dovetail using a standard 1/4" screw connector.

Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes do not need collimation, however the first picture in the ad shows an additional hole in the centre of the rear cell holder which is an adjustment hole. I have never needed to experiment with it.

Picture of corrector?

How large is the secondary obstruction? Is it an aluminised spot or separate mirror?

Is that standard 1.25-inch adaptor for eyepieces and T-thread at the back attached via an SCT thread or something else?

Any pictures taken through the telescope? What size is the image circle? Does it fill an APS-c frame?

It is a Gregory 'spot' Maksutov-Cassegrain design so no secondary mirror.
Rear cell adaptor is standard for a 1.25" diagonal or t-ring and has an external M-42 thread.
I am not into AP and so I cannot answer your last question.

From discussions here today at Astronomy Academy it may be a 1980's Russian made scope, re-branded. OTA is solid aluminium, not rolled plate, and the rear cell is heavy and well made.

Further to my previous message, I have just been sent the attached pics which appear to show that the scope was of Taiwanese manufacture. The design of the finderscope confirms it is vintage. The scope is advertised as 80mm/fl1000 but with an f11 description not f12.5. The aperture is slightly bigger than 80mm though. Thanks, Philip
