The eclipse this afternoon from Darwin.
My block at McMinns Lagoon is quite bushy, and the sun disappeared below the trees about 10 minutes before maximum eclipse.

Thanks Hemi,
I only had about 20 minutes from ingress to the sun disappearing into the trees.
Cheers Phil
Superb views there, and good to see it captured from this side of the globe! Was meant to visit the path of annularity but you-know-what intervened.

Thanks Mirko,
I only set up for it half an hour before. I wasn't sure if I'd find a clear enough spot to miss the trees. Was able to get clear views until 10 minutes before max eclipse.
Yes Corona has made travel pretty inconvenient for all of us. It'll be a fair while before we will be able to travel freely for these pursuits.
Cheers Phil
