This is the latest image out of Clayton Observatories. This is an image of NGC6445 (the Little Gem, a planetary nebula) and NGC6440 (a globular cluster). The nebula is located at a distance of 4500 light years. The globular is about 27,700 light years away. It is partially darkened and tinted by the intervening dust of the Milky Way arms.

Great pairing this one, I shot'em a few years ago with the same scope :D... in fact, the image is part of an article in the current issue of US S&T :) Although a hybrid, mine was more NB, so I like this HaRGB style where the Ha appears red and the slightly wider field of view with more stars, due to the inclusion of Luminance, gives extra context

Great combination & some really nice detail on that planetary.

A composition that works well Paul. The balance between the colours of the globular and the PN is spot on.

Very photogenic. The colours in the globular due to the absorption are reminiscent of NGC 4945. Gives a feeling of lots of stuff up there between us and the globular. The planetary is lovely, with its faint outer extensions nicely captured. Excellent result!

A very interesting and not often imaged object. Looks a bit like a butterfly flying horizontally. Or a heart presented on cushions. If it managed to ignite my rather dull imagination, it must be a really good image Paul

Just had another look. A wonderful pairing of two unusual beasties in a wonderful field.

The planetary shows so much detail in its etch-a-sketch outer extensions. Beautifully done.
