I spent 3 nights a week or so ago trying to get data on M83. Ended up deciding to dump the lot as poor conditions and my tweaking of the image train it was pretty poor data. Scored a good night last night and managed to collect over 4 hours or LRGB. A thin band of cloud went through which cost me 8 subs. Much happier with the colours, background and details now so OK to publish!

Yeah a nice looking M83 that Malcolm, well done  When ever I see an image of this galaxy it always makes me recall my first ever CCD image from way back in 2003...Man! when that single (crappy) 2min shot (https://pbase.com/image/56900338/original) came down I ran around in circles in my front yard singing Hallelujah ...aaaand I was hooked :P
