First attempt at processing some of last night's/ this morning's Jupiter double shadow. Conditions weren't quite as good as last time with some wispy clouds around, but I managed to get something. The Red Spot was better placed than last time. Got lots of vids to go through and hopefully might get something better than this, but it's a start anyway. Using Skywatcher 10" manual dob with Canon 60D DSLR camera.

This one came up better. Might have been a patch of better seeing. From 3 joined 1 min vids taken close together. One moon is visible at the left of the upper cloud belt.

The 2nd image is the better for sure keep it up.
I'm glad you got some clear skies for last nights transits , was clouded out and light rain here at the time. Now I know what I missed out on.
Thanks for posting.

Thanks again for letting us know about it. The clouds really came over just at the end of the shadow transit so I was lucky to get anything at all. This is about as good as I can get it at the moment, will keep trying.
A good record of the event. Clouds have been a big issue of SE Australia lately so you have done quite well.
