The creator Dylan O'Donnell talks about it in one of his YouTube videos where he is discussing colors in Astrophotography.

A Colour Primer for Astrophotography - RGB, LRGB, HaRGB, HaGB, Hubble Palette Narrowband & More! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pxIUCWwl5k) - Great intro for beginners like myself.

Personally, I believe there are no short cuts in narrowband imaging. Simply taking your one shot colour, RGB Lum of whatever you have in broadband, and faking a narrowband image from that, misses the unique collection provided by dedicated narrowband filtration. You may be able to capture Oiii via broadband but it is mixed in with everything else. In many cases wonderful narrowband targets show very little when captured in broadband.
