Io, Europa and Ganymede with GRS transit 5 June

June 5 1.20 am. A single 2.5 minute capture

A good night for imaging Jupiter, need more like this one!
This image shows Ganymede and Europa in transit and Io near Jupiter. Also lots of activity around the GRS and polar regions. Fingers crossed for more good conditions at the opposition.

Thanks everyone, yes I think the seeing was exceptional for these parts. Even the night before and following were not close. We take out our scopes and just hope that we will get a good spell of seeing at some time. It was just very good luck that the good seeing happened at the time of the transits and that I decided to go out and freeze my fingers that night.
