Am I excited? Just call me Big Kev. :D

This little camera has so much potential. It certainly aint no SBIG, but if you wanted to do planetary imaging and dabble your toes into some deep sky stuff you could do a lot worse than get one of these cameras.

Orion ED 80 + DMK21AF04.AS + 0.5 Mogg focal reducer; autoguided with a ToUcam on Losmandy G11 using Starmate hardware and K3CCDTools V3.

14/75sec frames, dark subtracted and stacked in Registax 4. MAP - 3, no wavelets and strong histostretch. Framed and sized for web in PS. I've deliberately not processed this in PS just to show what can be gotten straight out of the camera and Registax.

I would have liked to have taken 50-100 shots to improve the S/N but the clouds beat me again.

They are 640x480 with 5.6 micron pixels. Same size chip as a ToUcam. Using the above setup resolution is 3.85 arcsec/pixel. (Ron Wodaski's CCD Calculator)
