HII region above Alniyat in Scorpius.
GSO 10" F4 Newtonian, ZWO ASI 183mm Pro, roughly an hour of RGB stars and 5 hours of Ha.
Quite an interesting region that is seldom imaged at this focal length.

Thanks Marc!
Thanks Andy, I had fun imaging it for the first time. As such I had no idea what I would get. It was exciting!

Thanks Mike. I was looking at the other bits of it to shoot, but there's mostly reflection neb in them. Who knows, maybe OIII or SII as well? Might be worth a look.

Thanks Rodney. Composition was a bit of a fluke as I wasn't sure what would show up.
I like this, nice to see another new one!

The bright blue star makes the image.
A framing not seen usually. Composition and framing is an often neglected part of our art.

I like something a bit different every now and then too.
Thanks Tim!
Composition is something I need practice at. But yeah without the bright blue star it would be bland.

Thanks graham, you're welcome. It's usually seen in wide field shots of the area.
