Hi
Heres the Vela supernova remnant, a rather faint spiders web of nebulous tendrils. Hard to get from light polluted areas but the modded camera , fast f3.6 speed and the UHCS filter make it possible from light polluted Wallsend.

image is 9x5 mins ISO 400, with Baader UHC-S filter and MPCC coma corrector, Hutech modded 350D camera, on the old Meade 6 inch f3.6 "Cometracker" Schmidt Newtonian. Hand guided. Processed in IRIS, Photoshop and Noiseware.
Located quickly with the Argo Navis

Hi Scott, :hi:

that's an excellent wide-field shot you have of the SNR - well done.

how do you do it!! Image everything I want to image about six months before and ten times better

I was going to try for the pencil nebula as the centre of the field..is that what you did?
