Doco on the Sun on SBS Sunday 18th

Looking through the Green Guide yesterday and found there is a doco on the Sun on SBS on Sunday 18th March so I thought I would bring it to your attention. Check it out in your area, Sydney will probably be the same.

BTW I noticed that Myth Busters are back...well that's 2 hours of TV worth watching.

That's 30 minutes or maybe 1 hour of TV stretched to 2.

Padding it out to 2 hours is very very tedious and boring. I tape it and fast forward.

Hmnnnn the Sun, I have almost forgotten what it looks like, it's raining as I type, and has been drizzling all day (as usual)...:( thanks for the leg up about the doco :thumbsup:

I don't know mate, but it's on Sunday, it's a documentary, it's about the Sun, so it shouldn't be too hard to find in a program guide, I can't look it up because I live in a virtual world and can't read the old fashioned newsprint, remember paper??? :doh:

Never underestimate the power of visualisation :) ..a working TV has appeared :eyepop: and even here in a gully gets SBS without an ariel:eyepop: :eyepop: :D . See why I never worry;) what one needs always appears when it should simply by thinking about it:thumbsup: ..it is that easy:) ..just dont think about what you dont want,as most do , as that will get delivered first:) .

what a great doco, fantastic visuals and effects. Certainly re-inforces the argument for solar power generation especially here in OZ where we get more sun than anywhere else. Makes me want to do some solar observing tommorow!

Yes interesting as was the show before it outlining the relationship of water and the important role in the life of humans:) .
I wonder who put the money up to produce the show? me being me I suspect the folk building the solar collectors in California:lol: :lol: :lol: ... the fact that I like the idea of solar power does not let me overlook that possibility;) ..
Still I bet the production of these solar collectors dont meet the requirements of the sums as far as green house gas that maybe the folk in the nuclear power side of the shop will put forward:whistle: .
Fantastic to be able to have a working TV but I suspect it will be a while before one gets such an interesting run of decent TV:thumbsup:
