Weather balloons

Has anyone launched any space/weather balloons previously? If so, how did you go about sourcing the materials and where did you launch from? Any other tips/tricks welcome..



I'd be interested in attaching a GoPro and a GPS receiver to a weather balloon and seeing how high it will go.
