Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic Grease has the same NLGI GC LB specifications and is readily available in Australia and used for the same applications. I think that Valvoline have also moved to supplying a fully synthetic product as I can’t find Durablend on their website, only on other suppliers in the States.

Thanks a lot for that Calvin. Will look it up.
While I got you would you know where to get BP Lithium grease - BP LS-EP1 or suitable equivalent locally? Something that doesn't dissolve plastic gears though.

Lots of EP-2 available but I'm not sure if NGLI 2 vs. 1 would be a little too thick.

Mobilux EP1 is an equivalent. You can get Mobilux in a range from NLGI 000 to NLGI 3.

Another option would be Castrol Spheerol EPL1.

You may have a problem buying in small quantities. If so, go to the Castrol website and search for Castrol Spheerol EPL1. There is a “where to buy” link down at the bottom of the “Castrol Spheerol EPL Range” page showing local suppliers to you. Look for a truck maintenance company and give them a call, most will sell you a small quantity from their 20L drum. Because of its comparative low viscosity they usually have it in a lube dispenser for their servicing needs.
