Antlia a Chinese manufacturer of filters has released a range of 3.5nm filters (Ha/OIII/SII) for short focal ratio scopes (F2).
These images are taken with the new QHY600 on a C11HD RASA using the 3.5nm Ha filter.

The 2nd post of this CN link shows an awesome picture of the Horsehead, there is so much detail, that even Alnitak just disappears into the background.

EDIT: I got carried away I did, just realised he has deleted all the stars.

I saw this too Bill. Very nice. Antlia filters are about half the price of Astrodons so I was quite interested as my current narrowband filters are 5nm Astrodons and I wouldn't mind a 3nm O111 filter.

There are some very good narrowband (extremely deep) from an ASI6200mm Pro and Celestron hyperstar Edge 11 inch. Have a look at Equinox's other images They are all really deep.

Its also a reflection of the camera's performance. 84% QE and in excess of 60% QE in Ha.

Greg.

I’m intending to use the Antlia filters, but my primary scope is an F10 (and secondary F4.9). Would the Antlia still be suitable for my scopes of such focal ratio?

You could email the Aust' agent in Melb' and ask him, I think he has been testing them.
Unfortunately Antlia don't do a 31mm unmounted filter which I would have liked.

They do make a 31mm unmounted version actually! I just don't think their full production is up yet, I got mine (Ha 31mm and O3 31mm) which were apparently a dealer sample in a previous life but when someone else I know order the 31mm they were told its backordered until June.
