This image of galaxy M61 and supernova 2020jfo was obtained from 2 telescopes, an 8" F10 SCT for luminance and a 10" F4 Newtonian for colour data. Imaged over 3 nights.
R = 10 x 1 minute 10" F4
G = 10 x 1 minute 10" F4
B = 10 x 1 minute 10" F4
Luminance = 197 x 1 minute Meade 8" F10 SCT.
ZWO ASI 183mm Pro, Svbony LRGB filter set.

Nice job Kevin, thanks for showing us the Nova and a clever technique of combining the two scopes. The SCT for image scale and detail, the Newt to colour it in. I like it! :2thumbs:

Very well done Kevin. We did this one last night also, but only a very brief peek with short subs, not worth posting.
We noticed that in the linear image, the supernova is intensely blue, as expected for something ridiculously hot, but once one brings out the rest of the galaxy, it is hard to keep the saturation.
We'll have another shot tonight.

Thanks Mike!
Thanks Mick! The poor weather here has forced me into doing some weird things! But it seemed to work.

I will look forward to your shot if the clouds permit M&T. Be nice to see it with a big scope.
Thanks Peter. Not a lot of SN in my collection, but this looks like a nice one.
