Around 8 hours of narrowband data distributed pretty evenly across the three channels. Due to positioning, we were splitting our nights (6pm-12am) between this and dragons of Ara which I'll process and post shortly.
Taken using an ASI1600mm-pro on a reduced Stellarvue SV70t, stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop.
We've been doing this for about 18 months now and have come a LONNNGGGGG way. I think this is only the first or second flick I've posted on iceinspace.

Yeah, high fives there for sure! I like the balance you've achieved there

Thanks. We've been struggling with sharpness and noise and only recently realised the DSS hot and cold pixel removal has been subtracting the cores of our relatively sharp stars and turning them into fizzy donors that make the image look way noisier.
Now we are going back through all our data to reprocess :D:shrug:;)

A very nice image Daniel. Getting that open star cluster in the image is a nice touch too.

Well done Daniel and Iana. As Mike S says, it's great to see the Whole Thing. Vibrant but justifiable colour reminds one of the Lagoon.
:hi:Welcome,
Mike and Trish

Thanks both. Iana likes the colours on the subtle, smoother side whilst I like strong, flamboyant renditions with greater contrast. We're trying to find that balance :D
