This falls into the "pandemic processing" category.
Had this data for quite some time but was never happy with the results. I did post the SMC image here but it had quite a bad red gradient and needed a lot more work. As I've had some time on my hands recently I was able to (hopefully) do these justice.

These are modded DSLR shots so getting some colour in the Ha without affecting the overall colour of the galaxies was the biggest challenge in processing these. Each was 20 x 90 sec subs with a Pentax K-5iis and Samyang 135mm f2 lens under dark skies at SPSP.

Apologies for the intrusive watermarks - my main laptop died & although I've got all my raw data I've lost some of my most recently processed images (& these versions were set aside for Instagram where images regularly get stolen).

Hey Pete,
A stunning pic by any measure. I understand the larger globular cluster is 47tuc, but do you (or anyone) know what the other one is?

Thanks Leon & congratulations on 11K posts!

Thanks Paul!

I didn't "know" but Astrobin plate-solving tells me it's NGC 362 (aka Caldwell 104 apparently) . :D

Thanks Suavi.
Hope to have some new data soon. I bought an Optolong L-pro filter & plan to try some urban imaging (as getting away to dark skies seems like it's not going to happen for some time).
