NGC2736 Pencil Nebula in Vela

Hi Guys

Taken on my RCOS 10" RC Scope at f9, SBIG STXL6303E Camera and PME mount at itelescopes Siding Spring Observatory.
Processed with CCDstack, Star Tools and Photoshop. 74 hrs Total exposure time.
Ha,OIII. Mapped as Red and Blue (bicolour).
Ha 41hrs, 60min subs bin1. OIII 33 hrs, 60min subs bin1..
Unusually, this Nebula has far more Oxygen than Hydrogen gas.
Stretched a bit so a bit noisy in parts.

Fantastic image Fred, big bold & punchy, all the trademarks of an FVDH image.
Something odd going on with the brighter stars though, they look a bit "blobby" up close?

I started this myself last year and know that with an RC it requires a lot of time on it to get the back ground working. 74 hours is very deep. Well done Fred.
