Surely you didn't have to get too close with that 1000mm telephoto Bob.

The 1000mm weighs a ton, actually just put it on the ground for a rest, thought to put camera on and test it for 1st time. :jawdrop:

Thanks Allan .I’ll be honest I didn’t see the fish till I got back home and put the picture on the computer screen.It was the first outing I had with my then new Canon 500mm F4 II lens and 7dmk2. It is one of my favourites.

I thought about entering this pic of Pelicans at "The Entrance" but thought they're not so wild anymore as it was feeding time by a great number of tourists who flock there.

Wow. That's a hard one to pick. I had set a criteria, and sort them in order. So criteria and order is; Australian - Odd
Like the poohing caterpillar. On it's own, it might not have gotten my vote. But under the circumstances I couldn't not tick it.

I would have thought the fish caught in mid air by Derek was pretty odd.
That's my winner. :eyepop::scared3:

Allen - That was one of my picks. And I'm surprised to see it lagging a bit
