This is my effort at Comet C/2020 F8 Swan using my Star Adventurer mount.

This is the result of 21 x 30 second exposures using a ZWO ASI183 MC-Pro coupled to a Sigma 120-300mm Sports lens at 300mm, F2.8

The small smudge to the left of the comet is the barred irregular galaxy PGC143 a.k.a. Wolf-Lundmark-Melotte Object.

It took me a long time to find the comet with the Star Adventurer at 300mm - I ended up using my 952mm refractor on my EQ6-R purely as a finderscope to help me find the location amongst visible stars !

Captured with Sharpcap Pro, stacked in AstroPixelProcessor & adjustments in Adobe LR / PS.

Nice going Kelvin, showing a good streamers in the Tail, 300mm
I must try with the 200mm, been the best comet for around for near a decade or more.
Nice work

Thanks Jeff :)

Thanks David :)

Thanks Bob. Its the first really decent comet I've ever photographed. A fast 200mm should catch most if not all the tail. Just be aware that 300mm on the ASI183 is equivalent to about 820mm on a full frame like a Canon 6D.

That's very good Kelvin. A nice double & you've got some great detail in the tail.
