C/2020 F8 Comet Swan - April 25th

Got up early to try for this comet, just clearing my fence and shrubbery at 4.30am. Couldn't spot it in the binos and only found it with the goto (It is quite small).

This is a stack of 5 x 60sec exposures at iso 800, unmodded canon 1100d, 10" f4.7 newt, HEQ5pro mount guided. Stacked with DSS in comet mode.

Great photo, hoe was the appearance visually through the 10” scope ?

I actually didn't see it visually, just on the laptop screen. It's pretty small and I couldn't see it with the 50mm finderscope. I had to rely on coordinates and goto to find it. It is reasonably high at 5am about 27 deg elevation a bit below Fomalhaut.
