RIP TBT… Remember coming home from school turning on the TV to ABC and watching the Goodies and Dr Who (the real one with Tom Baker).

Loved watching these guys as a teenager - they used to precede Dr Who, a break for dinner and then it was time for Farty Towels. Those were the days.

Rest in peace Tim, and thank you for all the laughs along the way.

Damn, that's sad news. I also watched The Goodies on weeknights before dinner; it was a family tradition.

I've recently been watching the BBC collection on DVD - 10 complete seasons of The Goodies. I'm not sure why, but since I started watching, I've had this irrational fear of baked beans ....

RIP, Tim, you were a comedy legend and inspiration to many.

Do you think he'll get to keep his OBE in the afterlife?

"We met the Grrand Master.... and eeee, he were Grrrand!!" only the Goodies could come up with a line like that.

Kitten Kong was always one of my favourites though that is not saying much as there were many.

Who could forget Big Bunny .. kind of sordid episode with a bit of Clockwork Orange mixed in.
