While I should have been out photographing the fabled supermoon, I decided to point the Mewlon at M20 in the early hours of the morning. Managed two hours. I'll admit that the full frame is very very noisy. Not a great idea shooting reflection nebula under a full moon and from the burbs
So, this is the best part, the big reg brighter region :)

At least you got it, and probably had fun. I don't mind it at all

Very good detail there Colin. Maybe you have opened up a brave new world—for great seeing image during full moon.
Beautiful image Colin.
Well done.

Thanks all :)
I'm preferring photographing this to the moon! In saying that, I do need to at least attempt the moon at some point. It's a part of what I got the Mewlon for!

Thanks all :)
I did have a fair number of subs hitting the 1.5" range but the stack ended up closer to 1.9".
One day I'll figure out if it's possible to run deconvolution on OSC data without it looking shocking. Mono data can looks natural after deconvolution but OSC in my experience doesn't :/
