Had some breaks within the clouds the other night, so I thought I would start on this target.
Some Ha data while the moon is up.

Given that it’s fairly faint sucker it’s coming up nicely, especially in the background

Yes, I'll get some more Ha when the Moon is up, but the combination of weather and its current position limits the amount per night I can get.
And then I'm also considering if I get some RGB to add to it... My current thinking is to grab some RGB before the Moon rises then switch to Ha until I can't image it any more. Going to have to do some calculations to see if I can get enough RGB that way to make it worthwhile - or just wait until it's back up again at a convenient time.

Looks good Chris. That's with a one shot colour cam as well. Nice.

Thanks, but I'm using a mono camera ASI1600MM-C - the "C" is cooled. :)
Looking at the weather forecasts and the stupid clouds coming over now, I may not get much more time on this target in the next week, so whatever I can get I'm going to add more Ha.
On a different note, I was comparing my Ha image to other GUM 15 images on astrobin, including Lee's recent one. I noticed something interesting - Lee's recent one and others (in colour) had 2 extra (smallish) stars in the main/centre dark structure that I don't have. At first I thought I must have wiped them out some how, but going back over the raw data they're definitely not there. Interesting.
