Well, this nebula is what I might call my standard candle, it’s the one I’ve shot with every telescope and every camera I’ve owned
So here is the RH200 and ASI094 version.
200x120s taken on the windy but clear Wednesday night.
Hope to get the high res version uploaded soon enough but for now, here is the postage stamp version

Lovely rich colours. A very fine image. You just got that open cluster in the image at the top left.

Boom! Mic drop!
I didn't think I liked Eta Carina in broadband (I know, blasphemous!) but there's been a few images lately that have been thinking maybe I do, and this is another one.
Great work, Colin!

I feel like I need to spend another night and centre it more so on that cluster to get better star shaped up there and extend the image closer to NGC 3576.
It’s the red fiery Snoopy
Thanks Lee :)
I’ve always preferred this region in broadband, same goes for M42. You’d have a good FOV for the central region

"Standard Candle" has an astronomical definition:

Sorry being pedantic!

It may have been intentional ;)
I’ve done a fair bit of research into RR Lyrae Cepheids, using them to calculate the distance to a few globular clusters with my old trusty Nikon D700 and Meade 10 LX200 :)

Very nice shot Colin, deep colours and sharp, who said that you can't take great shots with a OSC. ZWO's are good cameras.

It's a pretty wide field Richard
Thanks Mike, wanted to get the colour accurate
Thanks Tim :)
Thanks Peter, I'm pretty happy with the ZWO camera but it's greatest downfall is frost on the sensor. Unlike all of my QHYs the ZWOs seem to suffer from frosty sensors when cooling. Still works well!
